great job you guys i use to work in that mine i started in that mine when it opened and left when it colsed. then they made a park out of it. the pic of the miner who is on the tipple looks just like him. his name was billy pasco. he worked in the tipple. he has passed away.thanke fellows coal miner mike verdetto

i remember i went here in like 5thgrade for a field trip. ive wanted to go back again but i never get the chance. my great grandfather worked in there. you can see another entance in nayaug park in scranton but its closed.
